The Mud Connector

I know you probably think the mud connector is passé, but here's the deal... It is soo easy to take 10 seconds each day to click that vote button when you're already on the stats page, so why not?

As of this moment we're at #92 and I suspect we could be in the top 20 in very short order. I believe this opportunity relates to the way in which the voting stats were reset at the beginning of the year?

In the end, will it make a bid difference? Maybe not, but the effort-cost is so low that I say it's worth it even to get one new player.

Create an account (real quick process), head to that link, and there should be a vote: the final challenge link, then you just confirm!

Also just use the big VOTE button on the stats page. It should be your daily reminder. Did I mention that you should vote every day? You definitely should try to vote every day.

The last time i tried voting it wouldn't let me do so without creating an account with TMC? Didn't seem worth the time....is it worth it nowadays?

ok, fInnally figured it out.

It took me forever to figure out where to vote. I didn't get any 'big vote button', what i got was a list of links with the vote link in the middle.

Once you're registered, you have to go to:

Once you're there, you'll see a bunch o links in the middle of the page:

Connect and Play Now

check: connection
telnet: The Final Challenge
homepage: The Final Challenge
statistics: The Final Challenge
vote: The Final Challenge
browse: player reviews
submit: player review

click on the vote line, and confirm your vote.

They haven't made it very easy, have they? I'm sure they make you register so keep the vote spamming down, but ugh.

We're talking about the vote button on the TFC stats page. Don't you see something like the attached on that page?

Yeah Gwyr, but that just sends you to the mudconnector page. If you don't already have a login, it takes you to the homepage. I just searched "the final challenge" in the bar, and found it pretty easily. It's only if you already have a login that that link takes you to the right spot.

Ok, sorry. But to be clear, all the steps outlined by Whistler should not be required each time you vote. Once you are registered, you should be able to use the button which is this url...

When i first logged on to TMC we were ranked at 80. Today, we're up to 56!

keep voting Often and Much and we'll be in the top 10 in no time!
